First Day of Go-Kart Practice | Platte City Photographer

Miss G. has wanted to race go-karts for the past few years. After much discussion (and much begging from both her and my husband 🙂 ), we finally decided to let her try it out this year. We bought the kart this past winter and she was very enthusiastic and excited at first. Then the boredom settled in as there wasn't much to do to the kart over the winter and the weather wasn't good enough for her to take it outside. Finally, as the first day of practice got closer, the anxiety started to kick in. Thankfully that lasted no more than the first lap around the track! And the best part? She found out a classmate is also racing in her class.
